ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
The minimum qualification and age for each course has been stipulated as under
-
(a)
Overman Examination :
i) Minimum (10 +2) in Any Stream or equivalent passed from a recognized
board.
ii) Minimum Age – 17 ½ Years at the time of admission.
(b) Mine Foreman Examination :
i) Minimum (10 +2) in Any Stream or equivalent passed from a recognized
board.
ii) Minimum Age – 17 ½ Years at the time of admission.
(c) Mine Surveying Examination :
i) Passed (10 +2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Minimum Age – 171/2 Years at the time of admission. Seats are limited
subject to availability of training facilities.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION :
Candidate should apply on a prescribed application form duly filled in and accompanied by two Photostat copies of the following documents :-
i) Matriculation Certificate.
ii) Mark sheet of Matriculation, 10+2/Inter.
iii) Certificate of Higher Educational Qualification (If any) together with mark sheet.
iv) Two copies of recent photographs (Passport size).
v) Conduct certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
Eligible candidates will be called for interview and the selected candidates will be required to pay the prescribed fee (non refundable) and produce the original documents at the time of admission.
Fee paid will not be refunded to the student in any circumstance.
Applicants will be required to submit fitness certificate granted by a registered medical practitioner.
ACADEMIC SESSION :
In order to keep the student barest of the syllabi and for maintaining of mental alertness the institute conducts regular and surprise examinations before and after the practical training. This helps in boosting the self confidence of students.
The academic session starts from July and ends before the commencement of summer vacation when the students are sent for training in mines.
